While the discussion did not address all standard questions, participants shared a wide range of creative and socially conscious ideas reflecting their commitment to inclusion, education, and sustainable growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When discussing&nbsp;<strong>local cooperation priorities<\/strong>, participants identified several urgent topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Urbanism<\/strong>\u00a0and the need to\u00a0<strong>stop the demographic crisis<\/strong>\u00a0by improving living conditions and creating opportunities for young people to stay and contribute locally;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inclusion<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>language learning<\/strong>\u00a0to build unity and communication across communities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Promoting reading<\/strong>, especially among young people, to support education and cultural growth;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Waste management<\/strong>, with a focus on\u00a0<strong>garbage sorting and recycling<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stray animal care<\/strong>, including\u00a0<strong>vaccination, sterilization, and proper documentation<\/strong>\u00a0for pets and shelter animals;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and\u00a0<strong>youth policy<\/strong>, aimed at\u00a0<strong>increasing youth participation and engagement<\/strong>\u00a0in civic life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although specific Interreg projects were&nbsp;<strong>not discussed<\/strong>, the group proposed several&nbsp;<strong>imaginative cooperation projects<\/strong>that reflect their vision for Ukraine\u2019s development and integration with Europe. Among these were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Intercultural research initiatives<\/strong>\u00a0to foster\u00a0<strong>consensus and social cohesion<\/strong>\u00a0among different countries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Programs to promote reading in native languages<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>Ukrainian refugees in Europe<\/strong>, helping them maintain cultural identity abroad;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Projects to preserve endangered languages<\/strong>, through\u00a0<strong>publishing initiatives and language clubs<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support systems for freelancers<\/strong>\u00a0to reduce\u00a0<strong>brain drain<\/strong>\u00a0and create\u00a0<strong>economic stability<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Motorsport development<\/strong>\u00a0as an innovative way to engage youth and drive regional visibility;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and\u00a0<strong>First Aid awareness campaigns<\/strong>, focused on\u00a0<strong>critical response training<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>community preparedness<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A particularly ambitious idea presented was the creation of&nbsp;<strong>International Industrial Parks in the Danube Region<\/strong>, designed to&nbsp;<strong>create jobs<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>address economic challenges<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>enhance cohesion<\/strong>&nbsp;across countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consultation reflected a shared belief among participants that&nbsp;<strong>cultural understanding, education, and inclusive development<\/strong>&nbsp;are key to Ukraine\u2019s future\u2014and that cooperation must begin with&nbsp;<strong>unity in diversity, language, and shared purpose<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 3 May 2025, young people from Ukraine participated in a consultation focused on identifying key priorities for cooperation and imagining projects that could strengthen their communities and regional development.
